Copyright Notice
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will agree that this agreement is intended to provide the Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (AJMS) with the rights needed to publish and disseminate the work while allowing authors to retain copyright over their work. Authors grant AJMS a license to publish the article and to identify itself as the original publisher.
Key Terms of the Agreement
-
Copyright Ownership: While authors retain copyright over their work, they grant AJMS a non-exclusive license to publish the article and to incorporate it into one or more collective works. This license allows AJMS to make the article available to the public in AJMS's print and digital formats.
-
Author Rights: Authors retain the right to use their work for scholarly purposes without the need to seek permission from AJMS, including use in their own classroom teaching, in scholarly, research, and professional activities, and in subsequent works that they author or edit. Authors can also share their work in its published form with colleagues and the general public.
-
Open Access: Articles published in AJMS are made freely available to the public under an open-access model. This means that anyone can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers, other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only condition is proper attribution and citation of the original publication in AJMS.
-
Creative Commons Licensing: Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited. This facilitates the free sharing and use of the work with acknowledgment and allows for maximum dissemination and wider impact of our published materials.
-
Warranty and Indemnification: Authors warrant that their manuscript is their original work, has not been published before, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors also warrant that the manuscript does not infringe upon any copyright or other rights of any third party and agree to indemnify AJMS against any claims or legal actions alleging infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights.
By submitting a manuscript to AJMS, authors agree to abide by this copyright notice. This agreement ensures that authors, AJMS, and the broader academic community can benefit from the wide dissemination and use of the work, fostering the advancement of knowledge and understanding within and across disciplines.
